Rites Conducted For H. S. Upper
The Rev. Frank Crofoot, of the Fairport Congregational Church, officiated at graveside services today at 10 a.m. when Herbert S. Upper was buried in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery.
Last rites for Mr. Upper, retired business man who died Friday at his home at High St., Fairport, had been held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mulqueeny Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mr. Crofoot also officiating at that time and then the body was placed in a vault at the cemetery until this morning.
Pallbearers were: Grand and Howard Bittner, William Mackey, Henry Remaley, George Patterson and Edward Chapman.
Marriage date: 22 Aug 1898 Alden, New York
