He was born on January 16, 1933 in Winters, TX to his parents, Oma Lee and Leona Robertson.

Mack graduated from Goldthwaite, Texas High School in 1950. He entered the USAF in 1951, where he went into training in Aircraft maintenance, and cross-trained later to his final military career as a Photographic Engineer. He eventually was stationed in Amarillo, Texas some 60 miles from Pampa, where he met Gladys Jones, his eventual wife of 65 years. Dad continued his career in the USAF until his Honorable Discharge in 1976 after 26.5 years of serving his country. He retired in Austin, Texas, where he worked for the State of Texas and then the City of Austin for 20 years!

Dad was a faithful husband, and father of three children, and grandfather to nine and great-grandfather to five. Mack is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gladys M. Robertson; daughter, Linda C. Williamson and her husband Steve and their children, Christie Williamson and Heather Black and her husband Andrew and their son Andrew; son, Douglas Wayne Robertson and his wife Ginger and their children, Tyler, Shane, Abigail and Alyssa; and son, Larry Glen Robertson and his wife Susanna (Marti) and their children, Shawna G. Bucuk and her husband Kyle and their children Titus and Lila; Leah M. Lopez and her husband Cristian and their children, Ariel and Elaina; and Kevin Lloyd Robertson.

Mack enjoyed fishing, gardening and Bonsai trees. Mack and Gladys traveled in retirement to various places, but Hawaii was their favorite, as they visited there five times over the years. Dad was a patient and loving father.
