Donna M. Jensen, 88, of Council Bluffs, passed away April 10, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, at Elks Lodge in Council Bluffs. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa. The family will direct memorials or you may choose a memorial of your choice in her memory.
Donna Maxine Dettman was born July 4, 1929, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Clarence and Maxine (Sprigg) Dettman. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1947. She married James Jensen on June 5, 1949. He proceeded her in death on July 28, 2011.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Holmes, and Mindy (Andrew McBryan) Jensen; two sons, Craig (Pam) Jensen, and Todd (Jackie) Jensen; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy (Carl) Wilson; one brother, John (Patti) Dettman; and one sister-in-law, Donaldine Dettman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, William Jorgensen, her husband, one son, Brad Jensen, one grandson, Josh Jensen, one sister, Jackie Langston, one brother-in-law, Don Langston and one brother, Duane Dettman.
