Gary Lynn Morton went home to his Lord on April 10th, 2018. Born on August 23rd, 1948, he was a great man who was loved by many. He was a proud Air Force veteran who served his country from 1967 until he was honorably discharged in 1971.

He was known for his role as Santa Claus at area churches, and volunteer work with his church. He coached little league baseball, and soccer for many years in both Cement and Anadarko. He worked at Hollytex Carpet Mill for several years and he retired from Harrison Gypsum in 2016.

He leaves behind a loving wife and grandson, Joann and J'Lynn Morton of the home, three grown children, Kera Morton of Anadarko, Flora Morton of Anadarko, a grandson, Austin Reeves of Gracemont, Geoffrey Morton and Frances Franklin of Chickasha. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law, several nephews and nieces and their spouses, great nieces and nephews; as well as numerous friends and family from all over the United States.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Mayme Morton, brother and sister-in-law, William and Marla Morton, father-in-law, Lewis Reed, brother-in-law, Bruce McCarroll, sisters-in-law, Carol Starr and Debra Gowen, grandson, Johnny Reeves and several aunts and uncles

Services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., First Baptist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Memory Lane. Viewing will be at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma
