David Bradley Washburn, was the only child of Carroll H. and Ruth E. (Reed) Washburn.
Raised in Lyme, he graduated from Hanover High School, class of 1962. He received his BA from the University of New Hampshire in 1966, his MeD from Keene State in 1992 and MLS from Brigham Young University in 1975.
He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from October 1966 until his discharge in December 1970. He was stationed at Orlando AFB Florida and Kadena AFB Okinawa, Japan.
David was predeceased by his father, Carroll, on December 21, 1997 and his mother, Ruth, on August 1, 2004.
