Jerry Lee McWilliams of Blue, OK passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 72. Jerry Lee was born on November 25, 1945 in Durant to Lee and Maye (Loftis) McWilliams. Jerry Lee graduated from Blue Public Schools and continued his education at SOSU receiving his bachelor’s degree in Art. He married the love of his life, Janet L. Kistler on April 17, 1965 in Blue and they were blessed with three daughters.

Jerry Lee was an accomplished artist who had many paintings displayed at many art galleries throughout the United States. He also was a rancher and enjoyed working his cows. He also devoted his time driving the school bus for Blue and Rock Creek schools for many years. Jerry Lee was a loyal and devoted member of Blue Baptist Church and he loved being outdoors in nature. The greatest joy in his life was the time he spent with his sweet family.

Jerry Lee was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa McWilliams Kilburn and brother in law, Max Robinson.

Jerry Lee is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Janet L. McWilliams of the home; daughters, Valerie Aplin and husband Robert and Erin McWilliams; grandchildren, Natalie Blackburn and husband Billy, Kyle Aplin, Dustin McWilliams and wife Ashley, Danielle Kilburn, Maddy Kilburn, Jacob Jackson, Daisy Jackson and Sophia Jackson; great grandchildren, Avery Blackburn, Kase Blackburn, Axton McWilliams, Gavin McWilliams, Blakely McWilliams and Raylea Kilburn; sisters, Barbara Robinson and Patsy Roberts and husband Billy Jack; son in law, Tom Kilburn and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Blue Baptist Church. Pastor Randy Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow at Bokchito Cemetery with Dustin McWilliams, Kyle Aplin, Jacob Jackson, Robert Aplin, Donald Jones and Pat Loftis officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
