Cheryl Hilton passed away early Saturday morning at her home with her loving husband at her side. She had been battling acute leukemia.

Cheryl was born March 24, 1949 in Ogden to her parents, Ray Leon Christensen and Marie Lovica Christensen. She was the fifth of eight children.

Growing up, Cheryl loved to sing and dance and was a happy child. She always loved animals and had many pets. She graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended Solano Community College.

On August 19, 1967, after graduating high school, she married her sweetheart, Bruce. Later, they went to the Oakland Temple to be sealed as a family. She had four children, two girls and two boys.

Cheryl worked at National Semi Conductor, later Fairchild, fabricating computer chips for thirty years. She spent her time taking care of her children and visiting family. She was very close to her sisters and brothers. Cheryl enjoyed bowling every week with her husband, Bruce, making many friends. She enjoyed going on road trips to Las Vegas and Wendover for bowling tournaments and some time at the casinos. She loved her dogs and treated them like her children. She was a gentle soul and will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Survived by her husband, Allen Bruce Hilton; daughter, Cherie (Robert) Patterson; daughter, Wendy (John) Ellsworth; son, James (Candace) Hilton; son, Jeffery (Jodi) Hilton; ten grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and siblings, Linda Farnworth, Michael Christensen, Valaine Francis, Richard Christensen, and Connie Britton. Preceded in death by her parents, Ray Leon Christensen and Marie Lovica Chistensen; and brothers, Ray Christensen and David Christensen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 218 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mountain View Third Ward Chapel, 2901 West 9000 South. Viewings will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Viewings will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
