Lynda Kay CHAMBERLAIN-GRAY (1946 - 2018)

CHAMBERLAIN-GRAY, Lynda Kay (Age 71) Passed away April 6, 2018. She was born July 13, 1946 in Colfax, WA to "Bud" Fredrick E. and Patricia M. Chamberlain of Uniontown, WA. She resided in Uniontown until high school when the family moved to Spokane where she attended Rogers High School. After graduation she attended Kelsey Baird School of Business. She was a hard worker and worked from the time she was 14 and upon graduation from business school she worked in the clerical field until she went to work managing her father's business, Chamberlain's Transmission, Autobody and Wrecking Yard for many years until he retired. Lynda then went to work for Washington Water Power/Avista Corporation where she worked her way up to the position of Fleet Analyst in the Transportation Department, retiring after 30 years of service.

Lynda and Richard Gray were married in Juneau, Alaska during an Alaskan Cruise. They took over 20 cruises exploring the world together. Lynda raised two children, Fredrick Lewis and Patricia McNeilly. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and grandchildren Mikayla, Kaydee and Olivia. She especially loved to do fun things with her grandchildren, attending various school functions, movies and shopping. Lynda was a goodhearted person who was charitable to family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Lynda is survived by her husband Richard E. Gray; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Wayne McNeilly; granddaughters Mikayla, Kaydee and Olivia McNeilly all of Spokane; stepdaughters Sharleen and Anna Gray of Deer Park; brother Richard Chamberlain of Spokane; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jean and Joe Mittelstedter; niece Mindi and Matt Shaw and family of Spokane; aunt Karon Nibler and family of Lewiston, ID.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son Fredrick E. Lewis; stepson Darren E. Gray; brother Dean F. Chamberlain and granddaughter Cassandra K. McNeilly.

Visitation will be Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral Service 1pm Monday April 16, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
