Charlotte Jean Brewer Busselle, 90, Johnson City, TN, died Sunday, April 8 at Cornerstone Village.

Born 6/27/27 to Earl and Eulah Brewer in Arcade NY, with two sisters Leah and Wilma and a brother, Milton (Stub) Brewer. In Arcade, Charlotte learned to drive a team of horses, play the piano, and pursue a business career at Rochester Business Institute, after graduation from Arcade Central School.

While in Rochester, she met Robert J. Busselle, son of Joseph and Ruth Busselle of Buffalo. Charlotte and Robert Busselle were married 6/29/1946 and began their lives together, raising 5 children, Sharon Donaldson, Karon Mooney, Joanne Forslin, Robert Busselle Jr, and Beverly Plack. After 30 years in their Strykersville and East Aurora homes, the couple moved to the Clearwater Florida and then Johnson City TN, areas.

Charlotte Busselle was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.

As a beloved mother, she will forever remain in the hearts of her daughters, Sharon (husband Steve Surowiecki), Karon (husband Kirk Mooney), Joanne (husband Gary Forslin), and Beverly. She was a cherished grandmother to Beth (Marty) Golden, Jeffrey Forslin, Shannon Dechant, Evan (Vanessa) Mooney, Lauren (Carlos) Disner, Steven (Rachael) Plack, and Kate Busselle. Her fondness for her great grandchildren, Marshall and Carter Golden, Claire and Ellie Forslin, Joseph and Jayden Dechant, Hailee, Carlos, Kevin and Genevieve Disner, is her ongoing legacy of love. Her beloved friend, Donald Potter, brought light and laughter to the later years they shared together at Cornerstone Village.
