She was the daughter of the late, Herman S. Green and Lillie Rankins Green.
Sheila is survived by her brother, Gary K. Green; sister-in-law, Jo Anne Green; two nephews, Jeffrey Green, and Brian Green and his wife, Amberly; two great-nieces, Aiyanna Green and Briella Green; and great-nephew, Brixton Green.
Sheila, or “Meanie Greenie” as she was affectionately called by many, was a valued employee at Purvis Ford for 37 years. She loved her job and her co-workers who treated her like family.
She enjoyed collecting just about everything: Titanic memorabilia, light houses, gnomes, Peanuts memorabilia, rocks, sea shells and anything nautical. Sheila was an avid reader and had an extensive library of all types of books (which she read repeatedly).
Sheila loved the Lord and faithfully attended Fredericksburg Full Gospel Church in Fredericksburg, where she considered its members part of her extended family.
Sheila always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Her sweet, gentle spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
