He was a maintenance supervisor for the Salina Recreation Commission. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Hutchinson, KS.
Preceded in death by a son, Danny, in 1977.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. of the home; three sons, James M., Olathe; Mark, Lawrence; and Kelly, Salina; a daughter, Michelle Knight, Olathe; two sisters, Evangeline Easley, Wichita; and Nadine Dow, Kansas City; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at Geisendorf-Rush-Smith Funeral Home, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
