Alliefair Casselman Ard, 93, widow of Albert Mack Ard, died Monday, April 9, 2018, at Embrace Hospice House of the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach.

Mrs. Ard was born in Williamsburg Co.unty near Andrews, a daughter of the late Bennie Casselman and Alice Ethridge Casselman. She grew up in the Warsaw community of Williamsburg Co., attended the Piney Forest School and lived all of her life there. Mrs. Ard was a member of Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church and the Widow’s Circle and Ladies Auxiliary of the church.

Surviving are: a son, Alvin L Ard (Janella) of Andrews; two daughters, Alberta A Howard of Andrews and Annette A Howard (Tommy) of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be eleven o’clock Thursday morning, April 12, 2018, at Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be Chaplain Fuzzy Lake. Burial will follow in Ivey Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church Wednesday evening, April 11, 2018, from seven until nine.
