Mrs. Phyllis Meigs Shelnutt, 75, of Lewisburg, WV; formerly of Clayton County, GA; died Thursday, March 15th at her home.

Mrs. Shelnutt,born in Wadley, AL; was the daughter of the late Robert Wilson Meigs and Inetie Bishop Meigs and the widow of William Frank Shelnutt who died in 1987. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Henry, Virgil, Troy, Howard and Wayne Meigs; and sisters, Vera Meigs Blythe, Eunice Meigs Drake, Clara Meigs Flatt, and Mytrice Meigs.

She is survived by two daughters, Tawana Tumlin (Allen) of Culloden, GA; and Tonya Cook (David) of Renick, WV; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and other family and friends.
