Jeffrey Cole, 64, of Kennebunk, longtime president of the Cole Harrison Agency in Kennebunk and active community member, died March 31, 2018 in Kennebunk.

Jeff was born in Portland February 11, 1954, the son of Charles E. and Nancy Dakin Cole, and is a 1972 graduate of Berwick Academy and received his Bachelor Degree in Business Management from UMO in 1976.

Joining the family firm in 1980, he became the fifth generation to work for the firm, becoming its President of the Cole Harrison Agency in 2001.

Active in his community, Jeff was a member and served as a trustee of South Congregational Church in Kennebunkport, was a longtime member of both the Kennebunkport Volunteer Fire Department and Kennebunk Fire Rescue, served as an RSU 21School board member, served on the board of the Kennebunk Free Library, was a longtime member of the Arundel Yacht Club, The Kennebunk Fire Society, volunteered in many youth programs as his children grew up in Kennebunk, and has served on board of director’s for the Brick Store Museum and Youth Education In Sports Foundation, along with his wife Kim founded Kennebunk Beach Triathlon Club, and was also in training to compete in upcoming marathons and triathlons. Jeff also enjoyed and was an accomplished hunter and fisherman.
