Mrs. Jean Crear Bryant was born January 22, 1934 in Moss Point, MS to the parents of Deacon William and Sylvester Crear.
She transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 6:10pm, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings.
Mrs. Jean Crear Bryant attended Magnolia Elementary and High School in Moss Point, MS where she graduated in the Class of 1953. She was a faithful member of the Magnolia Monarch Alumni Association. She also worked faithfully at the LaFont Inn in Pascagoula, MS where she retired as a supervisor.
Her memories will forever be cherished by a loving and devoted husband, Curley Bryant; two devoted daughters, Marilyn (Charles) Richardson of Jackson, MS and Sonja Bryant, Moss Point, MS; three grandchildren, Tonja (Larry) Mitchell, Cheryl (Taufoya) Nelson and Kristal Ward; seven great grandchildren, Rosilyn, Casslus, Kiara, Destinee, Jaylin, Cierra and Taufoya, Jr.; five great great-grandchildren, JQuan, Jayden, Markeilan, Karson and Aubree; sisters-in-law, Talvesha (Barry) Glaude and Leatha Bryant; god-son, Daryl Poole; devoted nieces, Beverly (Marion) Taite and Dorothy Mae Smith; life long friends, Bessie (Ira) Polk and Sarah Faulk; special nurses, Mrs. Robin and Mrs. Shelia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
