Carol Ann Parks, 71, of Naples, died Friday, January 4, 2013. Formerly of Palatine, IL, she had been a Naples resident since 2002. She was born August 1, 1941 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank J. and Marjorie (née Wickert) Briesch.
Mrs. Parks is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Lawrence W. Parks; her beloved children, Lynda M. (Richard) Bartell of Medina, OH and John W. (Amy) Parks of Cary, IL; her brother and sister, Arthur J. (Judy) Briesch and Frances (William) Hayes; sister-in-law, Jane M. Kutza; and her cherished grandchildren, Henry and Hailey Jane Parks.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at St Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples.
Interment will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
Arrangements are being handled by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home.
