She was born on February 23, 1911 in Kilgore,Idaho,the daughter of Christian & Anna Kelsey Jensen.
The family moved to Concrete in 1924 and there Mary was raised and attended school, graduating from Concrete High School in 1929. Shortly thereafter she moved to Seattle. There she met William A. Clark and they were married 19 May 1934, in Duwamish, King, Washington. They made their home there for the next 40 years. After retirement they returned to Concrete where they lived until William’s death in 1992. After which she moved to Vancouver to be near her son Ronald.
She enjoyed music, dancing and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald & Donna Clark of Vancouver, WA. 2 grandchildren, Craig Clark of Dutch Harbor, AK and Christine Clark and her husband Bryan Waliezer of Vancouver, WA, and 1 great-grandson, Austin Maygra. 1 brother, Grant Jensen of Sedro-Woolley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband William, she was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Graveside services will be held at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery on Wednesday March 17, 2004 at 1:30 PM. Arrangements under direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
