Born in Watertown, New York, she was the daughter of Walter and Virginia Daly. In 1965 she and her family moved from their home in Ilion, New York to Portsmouth, Virginia, when her husband Bernie was transferred with General Electric Company.
Predeceased by her husband, Bernard M. Brown, she is survived by her three loving children, Susan Brown Comer (Don), Teresa Brown Madden (Larry), Michael J. Brown (Cheryl) and grandchildren Kathleen Comer Mozzi (Anthony) and Conor M. Brown.
Pat retired after working for 17 years as receptionist for Drs. Taylor, Bisese, Kail and Cox. She enjoyed the company of her special friend Eugene New, and of her GNO group. In recent years she looked forward to the daily visits with her devoted daughter Terri.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Ln., Suffolk. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Ln., Portsmouth, followed by burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edmarc Hospice for Children, 516 London St., Portsmouth, VA 23704; or to a charity of your choice.
