Joe Forrest Graves, Jr. age 64 of Gallatin passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mr. Joe was born in Lebanon, TN on December 23, 1952 to Joe Forrest Graves Sr. and Carol Wix Graves.

Mr. Graves was a fork lift operator. He attended MTSU where he played football for the Blue Raiders.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Forrest Graves Sr..

Survivors include his son, Joe Forrest (Melanie) Graves III of Hendersonville; daughter, Katie Michael of Nashville; four grandchildren, Dillon Michael, Kaitlyn Hayes, Berkley Allene Graves and Austen Harper Graves; two great-grandchildren, Grayson Tyler Cox and Andrew Ryan Estill; mother, Carol Graves of Gallatin, brother, Jeffrey (Marion) Graves and sister, Cindy Graves of Gallatin.

Visitation will be begin on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm. Graveside services and interment will be conducted on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 3:30 pm at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Gallatin.
