As the son of a military father, he attended schools in several states and countries, eventually graduating from Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. It was this school where he received training at the Caddo Career Center as a machinist. This would lead to a successful career as an Industrial Engineer with Sanden International Industries in Dallas, Texas. Unfortunately in 2000, his career was cut short by a traumatic brain injury as the result of a fall which rendered him disabled.
Although disabled, he maintained a positive outlook on life, sharing his talents of “fixing things” for his family and friends. He also liked to travel. One of the highlights for him was a trip to Europe to visit Germany, Austria, Check Republic, and Hungary on a Danube River Cruise with his aunt. He had a kind, gentle heart. He liked everybody and everybody liked him.
Timothy is survived by a sister, Mary Hamm of Fouke, Arkansas, a nephew, Robert Ruff, a great-nephew, Jayden Ruff, and great-niece, Charlie Ann Ruff, all of Shreveport, Louisiana, and his aunt, Ann Fowler, of Fouke, Arkansas.
The family will receive guests at the Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 10:00 A. M. until 11:00 A. M. His cremains will be buried in the Fouke Cemetery at a later date.
