Charles T. Williams Sr., 50, of 647 W. Washington St., died Sunday in Petersburg General Hospital, after two years illness. A native of Halifax County, N. C., he was a son of the late Charlie and Levinia Williams, and had made his home in Petersburg for the last five years. He was a carpenter, for the Central Home Improvement Co. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise 'Norman’ Williams; seven sons: Charlie Thomas Williams Jr., Edward Earl Williams, James Bryant Williams, David H. Williams, Larry P. Williams, Mclvin L. Williams, all of Petersburg, and Robert Lee Williams of Roanoke Rapids, NC .; six brothers, Abram Williams of Norfolk, Jim Williams of Tarboro; N.C, Paul Williams of Norfolk, Fred Williams, Woodrow Williams, and Jessie Williams, all of Greenville, N. C.; and one sister, Miss Annie Williams of Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a. m. in the chapel of J. T. Morriss Son. -Burial will be in Blandford Cemetery.
