Born July 23, 1924 in Plymouth, MA, he was a son of the late Daniel and Mary Josephine (McGrath) Turner.
A graduate of Providence College and the University of Rhode Island, Mr. Turner completed additional graduate work at Columbia University before beginning his career as a civil servant with the US Census Bureau, retiring in 1981. Bruce was a veteran of the US Army having served his country honorably during World War II, including the D-Day Landing. He was a longtime, active member of the First Baptist Church in Lansdale, PA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Richard, and Robert Turner.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Lansdale, PA. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
