Gary L. Davidson, 67, of Burkburnett, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Gary was born on March 8, 1951 in Sioux City, Iowa to Marshall and Canice (Calhoun) Davidson. He served our country proudly in the United States Army. Gary was an avid mechanic and loved working on tractors, enjoyed flying, and was a HAM Radio operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Canice Davidson; his brother, Tom Davidson; and his grandson, Trevor Hancock.
He is survived by his sons, Nathan Davidson and wife Jessie of Searcy, Arkansas, and Josh Davidson and wife Meadow of Burkburnett; his daughter, Kary Hill of Ft. Mill, South Carolina; six brothers, Ron, George, Kelly, Cory, Danny, and Mike Davidson; one sister, Trudy Bader all of Iowa; ten grandchildren, Zakkary, Jakob, Alexander, Gary, Ross, Harley, Corbin, Velissa, Tristen, and Tanner; one great-grandchild, Louella; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
