She worked at K-Mart for several years and then worked at Oak Manor nursing home for several years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery taking care of her flowers and animals and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
She is preceded Brothers, Robert and Jess Stropes; a sister, Rose Acklin and her parents before mentioned.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville with burial in Corley Cemetery in the Corley Community near Paris, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Lesley Wright of the home; two daughters, Sue Schnarr of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Pamela Knapick of Houston, Texas; one son, Wayne Finley of Lavaca, Arkansas; four sisters, Joycelyon Young, Margaret Asbury, and Eva Barnett all of Magazine and Carolyn Kelly of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one brother, Amos Stropes of Booneville; three grandchildren, Chrystal, Nicholas and Amarise; one great granddaughter, Emily; other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Brad McKinnie, James Claire, Shannon Watson, Dean and Doug Young, Jeremy Singleton.
