Wallace "Lee" Rowe, 62, of Bartley, WV, passed away Friday April 6, 2018, in Bartley, WV. Lee was a generous and loving person; a wonderful husband, father, brother, son and friend. He cared for everyone and was always understanding and helpful.
Lee was born November 11, 1956, in Grundy, VA, a son of the late James "Henry" Rowe (1928-Deceased) and Gertrude Ratliff-Rowe (Deceased). In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by one sister, Kansey Rowe (Deceased); and three brothers, Henry Ray "Butch" Stacy (1952-2017), Jeffrey "Wayne" Rowe (Deceased) and James Edward Rowe (Deceased).
Survivors include his wife and soul mate, Valarie Rowe; four children, Tommy Lee Rowe of Woodbridge VA, Angela Leigh Rowe-Murphy of Manassas VA, Derrick Lee Rowe of Martinsburg WV, and Danielle Kansey Rowe of Martinsburg, WV; three stepdaughters, Latasha Crigger of Bluefield, WV, Santana Estep of Raysal, WV and Cheyanna Justus of Whitewood, VA; numerous grandchildren; and siblings, Kenneth Darrell Rowe, Eugene"David" Rowe, Delilah Rowe-Crigger, Rebecca Rowe-Sweeney, Deborah Lynn Rowe-Perry and Jessica Rowe.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 1:00 with Reverend Johnny Akers and Reverend Jessie Estep officiating at the Jesus Church of Bartley, in Bartley, WV. Burial will follow in the Estep Family Cemetery in Johnny Cake Hollow at Bartley, WV.
