Virginia Harper, 81, of Porter went to be with her Lord Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born Saturday, September 19, 1936 to Haley and Vela Olliff. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Harper; sisters; Jo Ann Olliff, Betty Zimmerman and Mary Dearsan. She is survived by her children, Lee Hulsey, Barbara Martin; grandchildren; Justin Hulsey, Lauren Plummer, Kevin Martin; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Wyatt, Reece, Laynee, Hayden, Maci-Kay; sister, Sandy Rossetti; and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston at a later date.
