Lisa Marie Allen, 41, of Madison Twp., died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a brief illness. Her husband of 18 years is Eugene P. Allen. The couple married on Oct. 8, 1999.
Born Feb. 10, 1977, in Jersey City, N.J., daughter of Dorothy Bongiorno of Brick, N.J., and the late James Molloy Sr., Lisa was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow. Lisa was an organ donor, selflessly saving other lives.
Also surviving are her daughters, Teresa Allen and Melissa Allen; sister, Tracy Molloy, Brooklyn, N.Y.; brother, James Molloy, Clarks Summit; mother-in-law, Theresa Abbott and husband, James, Scranton; stepfather, Anthony Bongiorno; aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend, Margaret "Maggie" Loughney.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Brandon M. Allen, on May 2, 2010.
A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Church St., Moscow. Interment will be at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
Friends may call Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m., in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church St., Moscow.
