JENNIFER M. BOWMAN, 35, of Butler, died peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, April 4, 2018 in Kobacker House, Columbus, surrounded by her family after a short illness.

Jennifer was born March 3, 1983 in Massillon, the daughter of Dr. David L. Bowman and Gina Mediate Bowman. She was a 2001 graduate of Loudonville High School, lived most of her life in the Butler-Loudonville area and was a member of Three Crosses United Methodist Church. Jennifer's pride and joy was her son, Jayden. She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking, dancing, listening to music, was obsessed with shoes and boots, was an incredible athlete, was giving and generous, a talented crafter, enjoyed making blankets and clothing, could light up a room and whose laughter was a blessing to anyone who heard it.

Jennifer is survived by her companion of over 13 years, Aaron Rasmus; her son, Jayden Michael Bowman Rasmus, at home; her father and step-mother, Dr. David L. and Marla Bowman of Butler; her mother, Gina Mediate Bowman of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her two brothers, Joseph Bowman of Butler, and Jeff (Ashley Arianna) Bowman of Lucas; two nieces, Sarah and McKenna Caseman; her aunts and uncles, Cathy and Randy Meche of Baton Rouge, Dennis and Karen Bowman of Lexington, and Dale and Vicki Bowman of Perrysville; and her mother-in-law, Kimberly (Steve) Prieto of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald and Wilma Bowman and Joseph and Delores Mediate.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Three Crosses United Methodist Church, Butler with Rev. Keith McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Butler. Friends may call Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE. The family request memorials be given to Three Crosses United Methodist Church, 12 Cleveland Street, Butler, Ohio, 44822.
