A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Matthew Allan Cobb on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6 p.m. and resume on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 8 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

Matthew, age 33, of Bunkie, passéd away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was a 2002 graduate of Bunkie High School and attended ULL. His hobbies included World War II memorabilia, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Stacey of Bunkie; his father, Ray Cobb of Mississippi; his two sisters, Lisa Borrel and her husband, Dustin, of Marksville and Susan Daigrepont of Bunkie; his maternal grandparents, A.C. and Rena Stacey of Bunkie and four nephews, Jacob Dickens, Andrew Dickens, Garrett Daigrepont and John David Borrel.
