"Lena 'Faye' Cosgrove, 79, died Tuesday, June 25, 1996, at her home in Dawn.
She was born March 30, 1917, in Chillicothe, the daughter of John Preston and Bessie Lee Anderson Abshire. On July 14, 1936, she married Elmer Corzette Cosgrove in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Cosgrove spent most of her life in Livingston County and had lived in Dawn since 1952. She had spent the last 20 years taking care of elderly people. Every evening after supper, she called her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd of Dawn; a daughter, Debra L. Riggle of Chillicothe; four granddaughters, Betty Ann Doss and Carrie, Sammi Jo and Hannah Riggle, all of Chillicothe; three great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Hanna; and a brother, Bill Abshire.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 1996 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be at Blue Mound Cemetery near Dawn." June 26, 1996
