Lived with wife and 5 children on Eads Ave in 1910, appointed to the force 9April, 1875. While a Sgt he walked soulard street district. In central district later he was promoted again to Lieutenant. His most notorious arrest was John Brady aka jack the stabbed on 10 feb 1906. The knife jack the stabbed used to jabb girls was on display at police HQ for over 4 years.
