New Boston, Texas--Morris Nathaniel Williams, 88, of Malta, Texas, died Tuesday, January 18, 2000. Mr. Williams was born April 10, 1913, in DeKalb, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and preceded in death by one son, Donnie Williams, in 1995. Survivors include his wife, Irene Williams of Malta; four sons, Dwight Williams and Dusty Williams of Malta and Richard Williams of Dallas and Rudy Williams of Arlington, Texas; seven daughters, Barbara Cox of Bonham, Texas, Neva Grider of New Boston, Polly Waller, Kay Shelton, Alicea Edwards and Andrea Williams of Malta and Helen Buchanan of Bogota, Texas; three brothers, Curtis Williams and Louis Williams of New Boston and Travis Williams of Tempe, Ariz.; 35 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Malta Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Reed officiating, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
