Funeral services for Robert “Lucky” Britton, 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Mark Briggs officiating. Interment will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, TX. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the funeral home.

Lucky was born July 17, 1952 in Oregon City, OR to Paul and Betty Louise McMichael, Sr. and passed away on April 5, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was a general sales manager at Hebert’s Town & Country Chrysler Dealership for 39 years. He loved his coworkers and customers and they loved him in return. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, building his ’69 Roadrunner, and entertaining others, often throwing pool parties, crawfish boils, and family get-togethers. He loved his kids. Lucky lived life to the fullest.

Lucky was preceded in death by mother, Betty Gray and son, Robert “Robbie” Britton, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jayson Britton and wife Breezy and Hunter “Mike D” Britton and wife Chasity; daughters Jennifer Britton and special friend Colby Hand and Michaela McElhiney and husband Dustin; grandchildren, J.J., Katye, and Cole Britton, Savanna and Audrey Kemper, Brody and Ava Britton, Adam Castle, Shawna Britton, and Bailey Warden; and special friend, Lisa Garvey.

Pallbearers will be Brian Wilks, Ronnie Attaway, Rodd Singleton, Mark Hebert, Trent Belgard, Dr. John Ibrahim, Jimmy Baker, and Beau Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Marshall Hebert, John “Bubba” Helfin, and the sales team at Hebert’s Town & Country.

Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots in Lucky’s name.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. John Ibrahim, Dr. Desai, Dr. Liu, Life Care Staff, Transplant ICU Team at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, and Christus Highland ICU staff. The family would also like to thank Lisa Garvey for her dedication to Lucky and to Sylvia Orr, Mark Hebert, and Marshall Hebert for their love and support.
