Lynch, Rose Marie RAVENA Rose Marie Wider Lynch passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 on her 88th birthday with her loving family by her side. Rose lived in the Ravena area for 40 years. Her last three years were enjoyed at McAuley Assisted Living in Albany. In 1983, she retired after 28 years with the New York Telephone Co. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Senior Projects of Ravena and a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Rose enjoyed bingo, knitting, crocheting, travel and especially time with her family. Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Milton) Baron of New York, Patricia Chalmers of California, Michael (Michi) Lynch of Japan, Gerald Lynch of New Mexico, Margaret Lynch of New York and Irene Lynch of New York; four grandchildren, Michael (Liz) and Matthew Lynch and Monica and Eric (Cristyn) Baron; three great-grandchildren and sister Clara Doherty. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Entombment will be at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Contributions in memory of Rose may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143 or to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
