Anne B. Davidson, 80, of Amargosa Valley passed away at home on March 23, 2018. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was born Anne Boucher Chattin, July 29, 1937 in Plainfield Union, N.J. Anne moved to Las Vegas in 1962 from Chicago, Ill. She worked in the gaming industry at the legendary Stardust Hotel, Silver City and Castaways and a short time in Lake Tahoe. An active member of the Las Vegas German-American Club, she retired to Amargosa Valley and was appointed by Nevada's Governor to the Board of Directors of the Amargosa Valley Library District, to which she was dedicated. Anne was a past-president of VFW Post 6826's Ladies Auxiliary, volunteered at the community's Senior Center, regularly visited area residents homebound due to agoraphobia and was a member of the Desert Bloomers Amargosa Red Hat Club. An avid reader and cinephile, she was brilliant at math an an accomplished baker. She loved hummingbirds, was a bird-watcher, who took care of local birds, and collected angels. Anne was predeceased by her father, George Edward Chattin, Jr.; mother, Venon Louise Boucher; sisters, June Ethyl Chattin, Mary Jane Chattin Seltzer; brothers, John R. Chattin, George Edward Chattin III, and William Lee Bowman, Sr.; and grandson, Jason Allen Street. Surviving Anne are her husband, Duane Davidson; sister, Patricia Louise Browns of Mo.; daughters, Alleen Rae Hager of Ill., Lynne Anne Gutierrez of Ore., and Karen Louise Street of Nev.; her sons, John Edward Hager of Calif., Charles Francis Miller, and Michael Lloyd Woofter of Nev.; 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and her treasured dog, "Tink." Services for Anne will be held within our hearts.
