Leona Faye Webb, 85, of Spencer, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Roane General Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit, Spencer.
She was born February 12, 1933 at Piney, Wetzel County, a daughter of the late Jesse Lee “Joe” and Della May Davis Haught. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Brooks Webb; six siblings.
Mrs. Webb was a homemaker and mother. Her hobbies included gardening and canning. She was also a Willie Nelson fan.
Survivors include her children, Aretta (Perry0 Mills of Spencer, Terry Brooks Webb also of Spencer and Rita Webb of Bridgeville, Del.; sisters, Reva Shanholtzer and Ruth Etta Staley; grandchildren, Aterra Steenstra, Alyssa Detweiler, Allie Bee, Belinda Hoff, Craig and Andrew Jurkovich; eight grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 8 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Minister Eddie Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. The visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
