FALL RIVER — Matthew J. Perry, 50, of Somerset, formerly of Wareham, died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Carol A. (Halstead) Perry of Wareham and the late Richard J. Perry. A graduate of Wareham High School, Class of 1984, Matthew was formerly employed for Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Somerset Grille. He has lived in Somerset for the last 14 years.

Survivors include his mother, Carol; his partner, Brian Keller of Somerset; his sister, Christine Conway and her husband Trey of Wareham; his brother, Shaune Perry and his wife Nancy of Sandwich; his niece and nephews, Zachary and Samantha Perry and Tyler Ancahas.

His funeral will be from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham at 10 AM. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
