She was born in Commiskey IN to Alger Young Bowen and Delma Silliman Bowen Czerwinski. She was a Homemaker and Artist.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Carlon Brooks, Parents, Daughter, Patricia Ann Butler, two Brothers, Alger Young Bowen Jr., Lonnie Edward Bowen, and half Sister, Ruth Lee Cook.
She is survived by her four Daughters, Linda (Bobby) Hurley of Glendale, KY, Jacquline (Morris) Milburn of Louisville, KY, Dixie (Frank) Braden of Charlestown, IN, Pamela (Robert) Hamm of Sonora, KY, one Sister, June Irland of Louisville, KY, 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and Dearest Friend, Betty Riggs of Shepardsville, KY
Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 7, 2018 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora, KY With Rev. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
