Leonard (Lenny) Joseph George, 52, died April 4, 2018 at the Sigourney Health Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born May 3, 1965 to Karen Marie George in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1983. He lived in Sigourney and later lived in Centerville for five years. Lenny participated in Special Olympics for many years in track, basketball and soccer. He was employed at Pizza Hut in Sigourney, Tenco in Fairfield and later First Resources in Sigourney. He was an avid supporter of the Sigourney Savages, a member of Sigourney Kiwanis. Lenny loved listening to music and eating.

He is survived by his mother Karen George of Sigourney, his sister Nikki George Talbert of Sigourney, two nephews Dayton Pringle, Caleb Talbert, two nieces Mya Talbert and Reagan Talbert.

Memorials will be used to defer Lenny’s funeral expenses.
