Evelyn Louise Hennington, 93, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 9:30am until the 11am funeral service Saturday, April 7, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Terry. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.

Mrs. Hennington, born and raised in Learned, MS, lived in Jackson a number of years before moving to Terry 56 years ago. She was a homemaker and active at her local church, having been a member of First Baptist church of Terry for 50+ years, serving on the Centennial Committee and teaching Sunday School in the Children's Department. She was also a charter member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Mrs. Hennington loved her family, grieved for the hurting and had a heart for missions.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Howard Hennington; siblings, Allen Berryhill, Herbert Berryhill, Mary Lee Nail and Dorothy Sheffield.

Survivors include her sons, Mike (Patricia) Hennington and Bruce (Angela) Hennington, all of Terry; brother, Walter (Elsie) Berryhill of Brandon; sister-in-law, Kathleen Berryhill of Terry; grandchildren, David Hennington and Kelly (Will) Holder of Petal; great granddaughters, Lexie Hennington and Olivia Holder also of Petal.
