Jane (as she was apparently known) was the daughter of John Henry and Mary Katherine "Kate" (nee Hess) Bosserman. (Jane's maiden name appears as "Agnor" on various state documents.) She worked as a domestic.
Jane married Ernest Boyd (or Boyd Ernest) Agner in either late 1905 or early 1906. He died in December 1906 leaving her with one young boy and pregnant with a second son. She is found along with her two sons in the 1910 census living with her in-laws the Agnors, in Augusta County, Virginia. Both both boys can be found in the 1920 census still living with their paternal grandparents.
She married George Bullock in Richmond on 30 September 1911. They had at least seven children: Mary Katherine, Alfred, Virginia, Marion, Clarence Leo, George, and George's stillborn twin brother.
