Born in Fort Valley to the late Grady Alton and Winnie Jewel Walton, Mrs. Tidwell was a homemaker and member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Tidwell, son, Steve Tidwell, and sister, Jewell Hopson.
