Lone Grove resident, Stacey Marie Scott, died suddenly Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born October 18, 1972 at Ardmore and had lived in Lone Grove all of her life.

An inspiration to all who knew her, following her graduation from Lone Grove High School, Stacey attended Murray State College and received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in 1998. She was a member of the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church.

Stacey and Charles Ray "Chuck" Scott were married November 28, 2005 at Gainesville, Texas. They celebrated their twelfth wedding anniversary last year.

Stacey was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Anne McMurtrey, nephew/son, Tyler Smith, grandmothers, Edna Wickware and Betty West Shelton, and an aunt, Connie Thompson.

A loving and dedicated mother, wife and friend, Stacey is survived by her husband, Charles Ray "Chuck" Scott, Lone Grove; son, Caleb, daughters, Shelby, Lilly and niece/daughter, Ricki; her father, Roy Wickware and wife, Debra; brothers, Todd, Aric, Devin and Kevin Wickware; step-sister, Siscely Williams; mother and father-in-law, Jeanie and Mike Long, sister-in-law, Sheila Smith and her close friends, Jessica, James and Little Man (Kamden). Stacey will be missed, but not forgotten.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church, conducted by Rev. Terri Beane. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Mausoleum with the assistance of Caleb Holt-Scott, James Byford, Garrett McGuire, Austin Yavez, Michael Wickware, and Nate Wickware serving as bearers
