Jack was born October 12, 1929 to Elmer and Dorothy Coleman in Kansas City, Kans. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving on the USS Prichett. Jack was a longtime carrier for the Kansas City Star. He also enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Norma.
He is survived by his children, Robert Lewis Coleman, William Lee Coleman, Brenda Coleman and Barbara Baldridge; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Inurnment of Jack and his wife, Norma will be held at a later date at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to the Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, Mo.
Arrangements are in the care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
