Ralph Wilber Huntington, 88, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at a medical center in Pocatello, ID. He was born in CA on December 16, 1929 to John and Eva Huntington.

He came to Pocatello from Quincy, CA in 1950. He was married to Doris Huntington.

Ralph worked as a mechanic at Glenn’s Chevrolet he then worked for Garrett Freight Lines, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #983. He spent 50 years with the F.O.E. #119 and was a 30 year Mason with Portneuf Lodge #18; he also was with the El Korah Shrine Joker Unit of Boise, ID.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and fly tying. He rafted many rivers including the Colorado, Green and Salmon Rivers. He also enjoyed riding snow machines and motorcycles. Ralph traveled to all 50 states including Hawaii. He also traveled to Australia, Germany, England, Japan, Canada and the Philippines.

Ralph is survived by his son, Roger Huntington of Pocatello and 2 half-brothers, Buck and Phillip, 3 brothers, Ray, Russell and Chuck Huntington; 4 sisters, Claudine, Pearl, Doris and Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6-7:30 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11 am also at Colonial Funeral Home with a viewing for one hour prior.

Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
