August 29, 1980 - April 3, 2018 Travis Barry Hurst was born on August 29, 1980 in Lexington, KY. He departed this earth suddenly at his residence in Annville, KY on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, being 37 years of age.
Travis is survived by his loving parents, Lloyd Barry Hurst of East Bernstadt and Earlene Partin of Annville; his sister, Tara Ernst of Annville. He is also survived by his mamaw, Reba Hurst of McKee, his nephew, Jonathan Ernst of McKee; by his nieces, Samantha, Abigail & Isabella Ernst of Annville and by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl & Maymie Partin and Burgoine Hurst and by his brother in law, Niles Ernst.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of East Bernstadt. He became a Christian at an early age. God gifted him the ability to write beautiful music and poetry. His family and friends meant the world to him.
Travis had a loving, compassionate and giving heart. He was a very intelligent, artistic and musical person. He loved unconditionally and gave selflessly. He left a big impact on all of our lives. Our loss is truly Heaven’s gain. He will be forever loved and missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral service 4:00 pm Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Norm Brock officiating. Burial to follow in the Seven Pines Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jonathan Ernst, Craig Eversole, Brandon Prater, Paul Michael Smith and Marion Powell. Honorary pallbearer was Matt Partin. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
