Wilda worked with her husband at their family grocery store, Misner's Handy Spot, on Upton Avenue. Later, she was employed by the Needlecraft and Yam Shop and at Battle Creek Mattress Company. She married Donald E. Misner on Aug. 16, 1933, in Battle Creek. He died March 31, 1977. Also preceding her in death were a grandson, Jeff Seybert, and a brother, Clyde Salter. Surviving are sons, James Misner of Battle Creek, Jerry Misner of Dayton, Ohio, and John Misner of Springfield, Mass.; daughters, Ann Wheeler of Marshall and Molly Mitchell of San Diego; a brother, Harry Salter of Sturgis; and sisters, Georgia Heine of Marshall, Marjorie Caldwell and Dorothy Gilmore of Battle Creek.
