Married to the late H. Raymond Reed for over 57 years, Carole pursued multiple interests during her life including, theater, music, bridge, and traveling; while serving as a committed citizen and mentor through board memberships, action committees, and a wide range of clubs. Above all, Carole was a fabulous Mother, friend, and confidant to her children.
She leaves her daughters, Candice Murry of Mt Dora, FL Deborah Reed of Durham, NC, and Kimberly Dooley of Clermont, FL as well as three sons in laws: James Dooley, Kevin Walsh, and Charles (Scooter) Murray. Also surviving her are her six grandchildren, Michael, Maggie, and Kevin Dooley, and Sean, Christopher, and Stephen Barter; and four great grandchildren, Isabella and Xavier Barter, and Lucas and Emma Saldarriaga. A beloved Mother, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11am at First United Methodist Clermont on 950 7th Street, Clermont, Fl 34711.
In honoring Carole’s life, the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, any donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org, or by mail to P.O.Box 96011, Washington D.C. 20090-6011.
