Mrs. Hattie Pearl Richardson, 88, of Columbus, Georgia died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Nazareth Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Isome, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave., Columbus, GA.. Mrs. Richardson was born February 16, 1930 in Upatoi, GA, daughter of the late John Wesley Jones and Amanda Layfield Jones. She was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church and was the widow of the late Sammie Richardson, Sr.. Survivors include: two daughters, Patricia (Glenn) Richardson White and Delphine Richardson (Shell) Brooker; three sons, Sammie Richardson, Jr., Gerald Richardson, Sr. and Lundy Earl Richardson; a loving god daughter, Meretha Scruggs; a loving niece, Glenda Jean Williams; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
