STANFORD
Victoria Whitaker, 76, of Dallas Avenue, Lexington, died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital after a long illness. A native of Harlan County, she was a housewife and member of the United Methodist church. Survivors include her husband, Gaines Whitaker; a daughter, Bess Wilson of Stanford; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Swift and Mrs. Chester , Wainscott, both of Lexington; and a grandson and a granddaughter, both of Stanford. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morgan and Fox Funeral Home. The Revs. Ralph Leonard and Julian Hammonds will officiate and burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Cemetery in Jessamine County. Friends may call at the funeral home.
